Lucas is now an official permanent resident of the United States! He had previously received conditional permanent residency pending the success of our marriage, pretty much. I guess they've deemed us 'the real deal'. We didn't even have to go in for the standard 2 year interview. I'm giving myself a big ole' pat on the back, right now, for a job well done. So no more worries and no more paperwork...... for 7 months anyway, when we'll start a longer and undoubtedly more expensive path to citizenship. Congratulations, Lucas!

congrats! yay!!!
Yay! Congratulations! Sounds like you did an excellent job on your paperwork! If I ever leave Mr. Bailey, and marry someone from another country, I will have to remember to come to you for citizenship advice! :)
YAY! How exciting!! I'm sure it's so relieving just to know everything is in order! Congrats to Lucas and you! Isn't it ridiculous how expensive everything is??
Congratulations to the both of you!
I went through the same process years back and I know how much work is involved with it.

Congrats! That sounds like a horrendous process - one of which I have no clue how it works!!
congrats!!!
YAY congrats! this will be me a year from now, hopefully. and am also planning to go down the citizenship route, but planning on keeping my british passport too. congrats again!
Congratulations! :)
I actually think the actual citizenship application is WAY simpler than the PRC app; we are still waiting, but it was so interesting how much you DON'T need to send! And most applications are done and processed and the person is a US citizen within around 6 months from sending the application in! :)
YAY YAY YAY!! Congrats!
:)
