Welcome to Miami

Once back in Miami we had a rental car waiting for us...
And we were off to enjoy South Beach for a while
Really, in all honesty, South Beach is nice but it really isn't as glamorous as it is made out to be.

The next day we set out for more adventures in Key Largo...

Kayaking in the ocean and through the mangrove canals

(Note to self: ocean kayaking is actually very difficult)

And a must for any trip to the Keys: Key Lime Pie.

The next day we visited with an old friend (he's been a friend of Lucas's for a long time.. he isn't old... well, not any older than Lucas anyway) on the beach.


Then he took us out that night to enjoy Miami nightlife.
Wow! It really is different down here.
Quick question: why are women always barely dressed and men fully clothed?
Hmph. Well, it was still a good view. Haha!
