What Happenned Down in Mexico - Part Dos

More photos of our dreamy Mexican vacation.....

View from our "Ocean View" room
This is my only complaint about the whole trip. We upgraded to an 'Ocean View' room and this is our view. Don't get me wrong... the fountain is absolutely gorgeous. But it isn't the ocean. We complained but they said this is classified as an 'Ocean View'. I beg to disagree. But I didn't want to push it because we wanted to enjoy our vacation, not gripe about a room that still had a pretty room. We had a wonderful time and this minor blip wasn't a problem... though a refund of our upgraded money would've been nice. Oh, well.
View of the cruise ships from the deck. There was usually a didn't ship in the harbor each day. One day there were none and on this particular day there were two.We rented a Jeep and drove up the Pacific Coast to the beautiful scenery of desert meets ocean.
We stopped in a little town called Todos Santos and visited the Hotel California. Don't worry - we didn't check in.
Lunch 'in the courtyard'So we spent most of our vacation relaxing and I failed on my duties to take lots of photos. So our last hour there was spent hurrying around trying to get all the photos I missed all week. Haha! So here we are in one of the resort courtyards and enjoying the breathtaking views.
I have an underwater camera with pics from our kayaking and snorkeling. I hope to get those developed this weekend and show you some highlights from that excursion next week.

Also, Megs at Mmmboppin' has asked my opinion on cruising vs. all inclusive resorts. I dare say that there are probably many more qualified people to explain the pros and cons. But I'm going to give it a shot next week and tell you what I loved and didn't love about each. Stay tuned.

It feels good to be back blogging again. Thank you for not giving up on me during my extended vacation. :)
