Fun, Fun Weekend ~ Oh, Yea

Tomorrow I'll be piling in the cash and counting my money. Yes, folks, it is time for the yard sale! As soon as I get off work I'll be making my way back to Hartselle to start preparing. Elliptical Machine here I come! Well, that is what I want to buy with my riches. Haha! I doubt very seriously there will be riches but at least I'm helping my parents clear their barn of all my high school/college stuff.

Now on to possibly the best thing I'll do all summer - KEGBALL!


That's right! This is my big Saturday evening plan! I found out about this event through one of Lucas's friends on Facebook. I thought it sounded really awesome but Lucas would never go for it. So I asked him when I got home from work the other night and he said YES! Then I had to start working on my friends. Chris and Aida are in! Amy is in, she just has to get Dan convinced. And they may be bringing another couple, too! Wow! It spread like wildfire. I am so excited about this, you have no idea!

So, basically, the point is you show up and play kickball in costume. But the entire game you must hold your beer in your dominant hand, leaving only your non-dominant hand to field the ball. Also, you must kick with your non-dominant foot. There are many more rules that have to do with copious amounts of alcohol consumption. Needless to say, we will be taking cab back to the house. But I think we are going to have the best time! It looks like so much fun!

Lucas and I are going as pirates (since we still have those costumes from a few years back). I'll be sure to take lots of pictures!

Oh, and by the way, we had a full team last night and beat our toughest competition. Yay, team! We have a match tomorrow but I'll be yard sale-ing it so won't be there. Good luck team!
