Whistlestop

Lucas and I spent most of our weekend at the Whistlestop Festival. My company had a booth and grilled ribs, chicken, briscut, and boston butt all weekend long! We even took Rafa on Saturday night. Here is a picture of me carrying him in his new little pack. So cute!

Also, on Saturday we met Chris and Aida at the airport with Rocky. I know they were so happy to see him and he was excited to see them, too. Rocky was really good all week long and things went better than expected but I was still glad for things to return to normal around our house. It felt so weird getting ready for work this morning without worrying about both dogs and trying to get ready in time to take Rocky for his walk.

On Sunday, Lucas had soccer at 2:00 and I had tennis at 2:00 but before we went we did some yard work. I snapped a picture of Lucas working hard.

As we were working we also saw a black snake. AAAAHHHH! We both kinda freaked out but I went sprinting to the front yard! I DO NOT LIKE SNAKES! I called my dad and he said it was probably just a black snake, which aren't poisenous but it is still really scary. We are cleaning out all of the ivy and monkey grass. Once we are finished snakes shouldn't be a problem but now I'm scared to keep cleaning it up for fear of snakes! We'll get there but it is going to take time.

I got to play doubles with Jeritta and we won. Lucas scored another goal. 3 games in a row!

My parents came over last night and we grilled hamburgers and ate some delicious home-made cake that my mom made for us with ice-cream and chocolate syrup.

Next, mom and I have our sights set on redecorating one of our guest rooms. I'll keep you posted when we start.
